Planning on staying a while? Getaway Hostel offers extended stay discounts for students and work travelers staying 14+ nights. Reservations made for less than 30 consecutive nights in total are taxed at a rate of 17.4%. Reservations made for 30+ consecutive nights are taxed at a rate of 5.5% Extended stays are only offered to Chicago students and individuals that are working in Chicago. Proof of school attendance, employment verification is required.

Our most cost-efficient private room is also our most popular. “Shared Bathroom” indicates a bathroom down the hall, but never fear, each hall has a men’s and a women’s communal restroom with at least 3 sinks, 4 showers, and ample toilets & stalls. These cozy rooms feature a Full / Twin Bunk Bed, a convenient work space, a closet, our strong wifi connection, as well as a free daily coffee bar. A $50.00 refundable deposit is required at check-in, please allow 3-5 business days to receive the refund after checking out. Daily Housekeeping is provided upon request. Maximum number of people is three.

A great value and totally private, our quad rooms are ideal for small groups or families. Furnished with a double bed as well as a twin bunk, these rooms come with a mini-fridge and microwave a convenient work space, a closet, our strong wifi connection and a free daily coffee bar. A $50.00 refundable deposit is required at check-in, please allow 3-5 business days to receive the refund after checking out. Daily Housekeeping is provided upon request. Maximum number of people is five, a rollaway bed is available upon request for an additional fee.
